At the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, we believe that “going out” should be special again. And there are few experiences more captivating than dinner and a live show.
There’s no denying it, there’s something special about live theater. The waiting in the lobby before the theater doors open, the anticipation for the curtain to rise, the orchestra warming up. There’s always something new about live theater. And all that comes with a world-class meal tailored to your performance. It’s satisfaction on every level.
As we start our seventh season, we can’t deny that things just keep getting better and better. We build each cast and crew specifically for every show, drawing from Denver, Loveland, Fort Collins, Greeley, Longmont, and everywhere in-between. You’ll be amazed at the talent in your own backyard.
Whether you’re here for a musical or a concert from an internationally-known recording artist, there’s simply something special about live performance. We’d like to share it with you; come join us for an evening or matinee.
Welcome to the Candlelight. We guarantee you’ll have an experience like no other.
“Goin’ courting” has never been as much fun as in this rip-roaring stage version of the popular MGM movie, adapted by Lawrence Kasha and David Landay. Music is by Gene de Paul and lyrics are by Johnny Mercer. Milly is a young bride living in the 1850′s Oregon wilderness whose plan to civilize and marry off her six rowdy brothers-in-law to ensure the success of her own marriage backfires when the brothers, in their enthusiasm, kidnap six women from a neighboring town to be their brides. Bursting with the rambunctious energy of the original film, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is all boisterous fun and romance that harkens back to the glory days of the movie musical.
All the cast members were perfect for their roles. The music was exceptional and as always the food was great. Service again was perfection.
